Following the success of our previous project with PureSeoul, we were invited back to support the launch of their latest new store on Carnaby Street, right in the heart of London’s Soho. The scope included respraying the external and internal shopfront in two distinct brand colours, along with refinishing an internal staircase and painting the divider section between the two main glazed units to create a uniform, polished look.
As with all PureSeoul stores, the brand’s aesthetic was central to the project. The colours had to be on-brand, finishes flawless, and the timing precise, as the store’s grand opening was only days away.
We scheduled the work over four days, splitting our time between day and night shifts to maintain flexibility. This allowed us to work safely when footfall was low, and gave other trades the access they needed during daytime hours. We also maintained a clear line of communication with the shopfitters and project lead throughout to avoid any clashes.
External Shopfront:
The external metal shopfront was prepped, primed, and sprayed in a gloss PureSeoul brand red, using a low-VOC, quick-drying paint system ideal for busy public areas. All works were carried out using a mobile scaffold tower, with temporary barriers and signage in place to protect the public and surrounding properties.
Internal Shopfront & Divider Panel:
Inside, we resprayed the reverse of the glazed shopfront frames in PureSeoul’s secondary lighter blue colour. The divider panel that sat between the two large glass units had previously looked like a structural void, but we refinished it to match the frame, giving the entire frontage a seamless appearance when viewed from both inside and out.
Internal Staircase:
The existing internal staircase was also in need of a refresh and bringing in line with the branding. We prepped and sprayed it in the same branded blue used on the exterior shopfront, creating consistency throughout the entrance area. The finish also provided a more durable and easy-to-clean surface in this high-traffic zone.
Despite a short lead time and the complexity of working on a live site, we delivered the full scope ahead of schedule. The shopfront now offers the bold and clean visual presence expected from the PureSeoul brand, with consistent colours and finishes both inside and out.
The divider panel and staircase—though small details in the grand scheme—help elevate the overall feel of the space, showing just how far subtle refinishing can go in a retail setting.
For retail businesses, first impressions count. The shopfront is the first touchpoint for potential customers and plays a vital role in drawing people in. By working quickly, flexibly, and to a high standard, we helped ensure PureSeoul’s new Soho store was ready to open with maximum impact.
We’re proud to continue supporting this fast-growing brand as they expand their retail presence across the UK.
